A Sewing Machine! Program

Sew You Can wants everyone to start sewing and so we created a program called A Sewing Machine! We know that once you have the knowledge and the tools, you'll become hooked like us and become a sewing machine!

Sew You Can collects and gives donated sewing machines to deserving individuals.

Drop off your sewing machine at our studio during business hours. Please include any items associated with the machine (like foot pedal, power cord, presser-feet, bobbins, owner's manual, etc.). We will collect some basic information and briefly explain the process.

If you would like to participate in A Sewing Machine!, please schedule an appointment by calling 607-936-3656. We'll ask you some basic questions about your interests and sewing abilities. We'll then determine if you meet the program criteria. This program depends on donated machines, so we cannot guarantee immediate possession.
