Introduction to Machine Applique' - Foot #20

Must know how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with its stitches. You do NOT need to know how to quilt.

You know that applique' is a wonderful technique that allows you to add dimension and shapes to quilts, apparel, pillows, etc. It can be a bit tricky, so we'll help you get started. You'll learn one method of machine applique' (using fusible web) and will begin to work on a stitch sampler and a small applique piece. For a little practice after this class, consider joining Ellen for “Calendar Quilts” or “Rose of Sharon” sessions. Stay after class and we will do a quick overview of each.
